About Me:
My name is Scotland Huber and I’d love to give and take your photograph. I have a degree in philosophy. Not sure how that makes me a better photographer? Well I’m not entirely sure either, but I do think it has taught me about the human being. And to me, photography is deeply concerned with the human being. Our vision of value influences the photos we make.
I don’t want to over complicate things though. I like photographs. I forget things often. And photographs help me remember. I have been doing this thing professionally for 3 years now, and I am so thankful for all the opportunities I have had to meet so many cool new folks. There is nothing else I'd rather be doing than taking (and especially giving!) photos.
I’ve used my passion for photography to provide images that artistically express and document various events and ocassions. I'd love to speak with you about creating photographs that can capture your unique moments.
Philosophy:
Photography is not just documentation, but it’s also the creation of something more: the photograph. I put an extremely high value on my photos, but the one thing I value more is people. My subjects are more important than my images. Ironically, I believe that makes for better photographs.
